Have you thought about where the bottles go after you use them? Single-use plastic bottles were bought and used at a rate of up to a million bottles a minute worldwide in 2017. Research shows that only 7% of those collected were turned into new bottles. The rest of them remain in our streets, streams, landfills, rivers and oceans. If this number continues to increase, there will be more plastic than fish in the oceans by 2050. Additionally, 844 million people still lacked even a basic drinking water service. Some of them have to spent over 30 minutes per round trip to collect water from an improved source.
Our mission is helping to solve these problems through provide the Disruptive Filter. But we cannot do it not alone, we really need your help. It is a small step but if we can get this message across, we can make a difference. With every bottle sold, we will donate to help those who do not have access to clean drinking water in a developing country.
